What does the ?status? message on my certification notice mean?
?Approved? ? Your application to take a certification exam has been approved. You'll receive the exam location information via e-mail two to three weeks before the exam.
?Hold? ? Your application has not been approved because we have questions about your application. Please contact a certification coordinator at 800-248-1946 (United States and Canada only) or 414-272-8575, or cert@asq.org.
?Certification Date? ? Congratulations! You passed the exam. If there is a ?Recertify by? date listed, you will need to recertify that certification by that specified date.
?Failed? ? Unfortunately, you did not pass the exam. You will receive a breakdown of your results by mail. You can retake the exam at the retake rate within two years of your last attempt.
